About this project
Our Slack integration enabled users to receive and reply to notifications via Slack. Users can also push notifications to custom Slack channels so they and their colleagues never miss a notification. The project started post-launch of our new in-app commenting feature.

Challenge
Our users are Account Executives who regularly must context switch and live in many applications at once. Our task was to provide collaborative tools in our application without adding to that pain point. We discovered that our users primarily communicate with their team members via Slack and frequently check notifications in multiple applications.
Solution
We wanted to meet our users while they are experiencing this pain. We created a flow for users to install our Slack integration after they received an in-app or email notification. Our Slack integration included links to the app and the ability to respond to a comment via Slack.
